BENJAMIN N. FRIZZELL

Ben Frizzell is a Marine Corps veteran and a dedicated Tulsa native with extensive experience in both the energy sector and civil litigation. As the oldest of six siblings, Ben developed key leadership qualities early in life, including perseverance and a strong sense of duty—traits that have guided his military and legal career. Ben is committed to delivering results-driven legal solutions, always with integrity, precision, and a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

Ben graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2014 with a degree in Political Science. After graduation, he worked in the land department of a large-cap oil and gas company, gaining invaluable experience in negotiation and project management within the energy sector. He then earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he was honored with the prestigious Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship for his academic excellence and leadership potential.

While in law school, Ben served as President of the OCU Law Federalist Society Chapter and excelled on the Native American Law Student Association Moot Court Team, earning recognition for his oral advocacy skills and being inducted into The Order of Barristers. He further honed his legal expertise with internships at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals under the Honorable Scott Rowland and the Honorable Gary Lumpkin.

Ben’s legal career is complemented by his service in the United States Marine Corps. During law school, he was selected for Marine Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer in 2019. Ben served at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA from 2021-2024, where he maintained roles as Officer-in-Charge of the MCAS Miramar Legal Assistance Office and Defense Counsel with the Defense Services Organization - Miramar. During his military tenure, Ben developed a reputation for balancing zealous client advocacy with effective litigation skills.

Currently serving as a Captain in the Marine Corps Reserve, Ben brings his leadership, strategic insight, and military discipline to his legal practice at Moyers Martin. His practice is focused on all phases of civil litigation, including oil and gas litigation and title examinations, with a comprehensive understanding of administrative law.

Outside of his legal practice, Ben enjoys golfing, hunting, running, and exploring the Tulsa area. He remains actively involved in his community and is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex legal challenges with confidence and peace of mind.
