KEVINN MATTHEWS
Kevinn Matthews is a business and energy lawyer with a wealth of general counsel, regulatory, and litigation experience. Known for his engaging personality and extraordinary ability to achieve positive outcomes, Kevinn has a proven track record of navigating complex regulatory frameworks, negotiating, drafting and overseeing performance of contracts, and mitigating risks to ensure corporate compliance and strategic growth. From his work as a civil litigation attorney in private practice to his in-house roles with Fortune 500 companies in the exploration and production and transportation and processing sectors of the energy industry, Kevinn is adept at leading teams of lawyers and other professionals, developing and guiding strategies, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
His professional affiliations include serving as the President of the Cornell Club of Oklahoma, Chair of the Tulsa County Bar Energy & Mineral Law Section, President of the University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Board, and Trustee for the Holland Hall Board of Trustees. Kevinn also believes in stepping up as a leader regardless of formal titles. He actively gives back to help young lawyers and law students with their professional development. His contributions have been recognized with the James C. Lang Mentoring Award from the Tulsa County Bar Association. He is also a regular speaker and CLE presenter at TCBA and University of Tulsa College of Law events.
Kevinn holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University. He has also completed advanced negotiation strategies training at the Latz Negotiation Institute.
