M. TRAVIS WILLIAMS

Travis Williams was born and raised in West Texas where he grew up working on his family’s ranch and playing football. After graduating from Midland Lee High School in 2012, Mr. Williams followed his lifelong pursuit of academics and athletics by attending Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. In 2016, Mr. Williams graduated as a four-year letterman and three-time all-conference honor roll recipient on the Trinity football team. Mr. Williams focused his studies on business and earned his Bachelors in Finance. Afterwards, Mr. Williams returned home to West Texas and found work in the Permian Basin oil fields.

In 2017, Mr. Williams left Texas to pursue his law degree at the University of Tulsa College of Law. During law school, he was an active member of the Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law Society, as well as a Notes Editor on the Energy Law Journal. Additionally, Mr. Williams received honors in his Advanced Oil & Gas course and was awarded the Sustainable Energy & Resource Law Certificate for his emphasis on energy-based courses.

Mr. Williams spent one Summer term in Oklahoma City working for Continental Resources, Inc., where he supervised Oklahoma Corporation Commission proceedings. During the remainder of his time in law school, Mr. Williams interned at Moyers Martin, LLP. The firm introduced him to a broad array of civil practice and quickly diversified his legal experience.

Upon passage of the Oklahoma Bar in July of 2020, Mr. Williams joined Moyers Martin as an Associate Attorney. Since joining Moyers Martin, Mr. Williams has been involved in estate planning, oil and gas litigation, real estate transactions, title examination, and general civil litigation.
